Margaret Machonisa has been designing fashion since she was a young girl. Although she followed her mother's wishes and attended college after leaving high school, the pull of fashion was too strong to resist. Margaret designed and sold clothes to friends and acquaintances and by the time she was 23, she was marketing her designs to major retailers.

She designed clothes for leading department stores and was hired by an international tourist board to design fashions promoting the region. She also designed dresses for beauty pageants and, in 1998, she won the Harrison award for fashion design for one of her pageant dress designs. She also received a prestigious corporate award for two of her original fabric designs.

In 2000, Margaret complemented her fashion expertise by studying cosmetology. Her latest collection was inspired by her passion for the concept of space travel. For more information, contact Margaret at magggi@hotmail.com.
